RASC Charlottetown

The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada Charlottetown Centre is made up of a group of enthusiastic amateur astronomers interested in promoting and educating Astronomy to the general public. We meet regularly to share the enjoyment of learning about the stars, planets and all the wonders of the universe, and we share our knowledge willingly, so the public can become more aware of the universe above through outreach, observing, meetings and our many other activities.
Visitors and newcomers are welcome to join us at our meetings which are held on the third Sunday of each month (except July , August and December). The next meeting is on Sunday, May 20th, 2012 at 7:00pm, on the campus of the University of Prince Edward Island in the K.C. Irving Chemistry Building lecture theater.
Our membership has a wide variety of astronomical knowledge and experience. So, come and join us at our next meeting to learn and enjoy the wonders of the universe.
